Please Note:  The Town of Ridgeville has a New Business Questionnaire Ordinance.  Before a new business is started a Questionnaire should be filled out and run through the planning commission before it is started. (Please see Ordinance Tab for the details.)

Notice of County’s “Clean Sweep” Special Waste Clean-Up:  The county will be have their “Clean Sweep” Special Waste Clean-Up on Saturday, April 28, 2018 between 8 am until 2 pm.  (See Garbage Tab for notice from county.)

Notice of Open Book:  The Town of Ridgeville will have Open Book on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  Anyone from the Town of Ridgeville may attend and talk to the Assessor in reference to property tax questions or complaints. (See Notice Tab for notice)

RESCHEDULED:  Notice of Comprehensive Planning Commission Meeting:  There is a CPC Mtg scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. (See Planning Tab for Agenda)

Notice of Spring Clean Up for the Town of Ridgeville:  The Town of Ridgeville will have their Spring Clean Up on Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th, 2018.  (See Garbage Tab for notice)

Notice of Board of Review:  The Town of Ridgeville has scheduled their Board of Review on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  Anyone who has a complaint on property tax issues and has met with the Town Assessor at the Open Book may scheduled a hearing after the proper paper work has been filled out during the proper time period allotted. (See Notice Tab for future notice and instructions)

Notice of Meeting:  The next regular monthly meeting has been scheduled for Monday, May 14, 2019 starting at 7:30 P.M.  (Agenda to Follow)

Notice of Tri-Creek Land Use Planning Committee Meeting:  The Tri-Creek Land Use Planning Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2018 beginning at 1:00 PM in the conference room at the Monroe County Land Conservation Department, 820 Industrial Drive, Suite 3, Sparta, WI.  At this meeting we will determine what we want included in the Tri-Creek plan from the review of the Coulee Experimental State Forest Master Plan and Kickapoo Valley Reservie Master Plan templates



NOTICE-NEWS RELEASE  –  COUNTY HIGHWAY “U” BRIDGE TO BE RESTRICTED   Effective immediately upon posting, the bridge on  County Trunk Highway “U” over Morris Creek, located 0.2 miles east of State Trunk Highway 71 in the Village of Norwalk, will be limited to a 40 TON vehicle weight.  Signs will be posted on the bridge, with advance warning signs at STH 71 and County Trunk Highway “A”.  A recent inspection of the bridge revealed deterioration and damage that limits the structures capacity to safely carry loads over the new limit. The 63 foot long steel girder structure, constructed in 1960, will be scheduled for repairs as soon as weather permits in the spring at which time the limitation may be removed.  For further information, please contact the Highway Department at 269-8740.
